OCUM mysql access denied

Hello

I followed KB ID HO83 (Answer ID 1029768) to get access to mysql on OCUM VM appliance. But I get access denied error

ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'diag'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

OCUM 9.4 on ESX

What do I do wrong?

Try "sudo mysql" at the prompt.

Its not working. What should be checked further ?

# sudo mysql
