Where can I find a list of each OID for each event that Operations Manager uses?

Please use “dfm report view events-history” command to list the all events and object ID associated to event.

> dfm report view events-history

Warning: Use of this command for listing and viewing reports has been

deprecated by 'dfm report list' and 'dfm report view' commands respectively.

For example, .1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.21.1.2.1.40.x refers to a specific event.  I'd want to list all OIDs and their meanings for all events reported by Operations Manager

The file merged_snmp_aliases contains output similar to what I require.

Hi Brian,

You should look at the dfm.mib inside the following folder.

<installationdirectory>/NTAPdfm/misc.

It contains the TRAPID for each of the events generated by dfm. This is used when dfm is made as a trap sender to third party tools like IBM Tivoli and HP OpenView.

BTW what are you trying to do with the OID.Can you pls explain what is your requirement.

I think the customer wants to write software that fields OnCommand traps like Tivoli.

Have you tried the DFM MIB?

You should be able to locate it on your OnCommand server in the OnCommand install location \DFM\misc\dfm.mib.

Did you ever find your answer? I'm looking for the same thing. Link below. Looking for the equivilant to /etc/mib/traps.dat on the OnCommand side that contain the OID's for dfm.. dfm.mib doesn't contain this information. I need this so that a NOC can integrate specific events into their dashboards.
