Are you referring to this (captured from my 3.1RC1 instance on Windows 7 x64)?

Thanks,

Kevin

No,

PFB, once you click on vfiler, “manage” tab is missing.

I recall that the vFiler manage button was removed in OCSM 2.1 GA.

I guess you were using a Beta version of System Manager 2.x. This feature never made it to a release.

But is there any other way to manage Vfilers other than cmdline.

Raghu.

I have a question regarding NetApp OnCommand System Manager.

Can this tool be installed on vCenter only or it can be installed on any server?

OCSM can be installed on a range of Operating Systems, although ESX is not one of them.

Here is the list as contained in the 3.1RC1 Installation Guide:

https://library.netapp.com/ecm/ecm_download_file/ECMP1354559

• Windows XP

• Windows Vista

• Windows 7

• Windows 8

• Windows Server 2003

• Windows Server 2008

• Windows Server 2008 R2

• Windows Server 2012

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 or 6

• SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11

Thanks,

Kevin

Yes, I tested it and it worked fine .

Where can I find each disk size? I only see total disks but I don't see each disk size in ONCommand System admin.

I am new to this tool or NetApp storage.

You will find the size of the disks under Storage => Disks.

Thanks,

Kevin

I have the same question . I can find disks but they show ATA and SAS different type disks and different size 827GB and 401GB.

How can I know the exactl hard disk size if I don't have a hardware inventory list. I just assume 900GB each or 500GB each?
