Hi Guys
I have recently installed DFM and Ops Manger for my active active 2x FAS3040. I am seeing Latency over 20 millisec and even 35 ms on some of the LUNS. what should I make of this, good or bad?
Is there any doc which I can follow to find out more about what is acceptable level of Latency? also wanted to know what is max IOPS i can have on FAS3040?
Please suggest your experiences and if any doc to read in details
Thanks
Ajay

What application are you running? Is it over iSCSI or FCP ?
What is your Disk type and RPM FC or SATA 10K or 15K ?
With PAM cards or without?
Are your application users finding delayed response?
What is the Iops ?
Regards

Not Yet!! just looking through Ops Manager and thought I may ask this question
What is the Iops ?
Input/Output Operations Per Second
I just wanted make sure that systems are not slowing down also we need put another 200 users (Virtual citrix servers on NFS) on these 2 FAS 3040 controllers then there will be more load too. trying to be proactive..
thanks once again
