Ops Manager Communication Ports

Can someone tell me what ports are used by Operations Manager and a NetApp controller for monitoring?

http- 80 - Storage System management

https- 443 - Storage system management secured communication

snmp - 161 - Discovery/Monitoring of appliances

Hey Msaravan,

I am using DFM version 4.0.0.6953 (4.0) with OnTap version 8.0.2 P3. Could you please confirm these ports requirements for this version.

Also this deployment requires a unidirectional (Filer -> Ops Mgr.) communication or bidirectional?

Hi SM,

     Firstly I recommend you to upgrade to 5.0.2 which is the current GA candidate. Also I am not sure if 8.0.2 is support with 4.0.  The following FAQ gives the direction and port used for communication between dfm and its managed systems.

We are running 4.0 Ops Mgr. with 8.0.2 P3. So no issues there. Might go for upgrade in the last quarter though.
