is there any script via which we can log in Netapp filer and collect data?

hi, guys

I am a newbie of netapp filer but have a question here.

we developed a script which can retrieve data based on the following output of DFM commands. It works well and can generate a report for us showing the aggr utilization, volume utilization.........and etc.

dfm report  storage-systems-report

dfm report  view aggregates-capacity

dfm report view volumes-capacity

dfm lun list

but we have another two netapp filers in a seperated network zone. I can't install DFM since the audit rule don't allow 443 and 80.......but we need to get the report for these 2 netapp filers.....

so I am wondering is there any script via which we can log in Netapp filer and collect data automatically?

or  I plan to develop a script which can log in netapp filer via "expect" and execute some commands......but I am not sure if there is better idea.....

please help point the right direction!

thanks in advance!
