storagegrid webscale monitoring...

Hello all-

How are you monitoring you SGWS devices ? we have a 12 node cluster, and no way to monitor the devices ? what are others using ? 

We have OCI, solarwinds, but, no plugins or anything...help!!!

In OCI, you should see a Storage Grid option when you create a new NetApp datasource.

Hi, i'm looking for exact the same solution, we also have Solarwinds but no OCI.

Any monitoring and reporting tool would be great but i have no clue where to start.

Now playing with the AWSPowershell module, let you know if i have any progress....

Gents, I had the same problem for a long time. I eventually used a free version of splunk (500MB or less per day) and plugged in the two apps available for StorageGRID and monitored the RESTapi only. This keeps your logs within the free threshold. When you start scraping the actual StorageGRID logs you quickly got over.

If ou already use splunk and are licenced then pull everything......

Current Netpp OCI  (OnCommand Insight) supports storage grid monitoring.

you can build grafan/Harvest to collect performance stats from storagegrid/e-series.
