Hello,

I am runing ontap 8.0.2 and I need to set autosupport options:

autosupport.support.transport https

autosupport.support.proxy  myproxy/proxy.pac

All windows and AIX servers use a proxy pac file to access internet, is it possible to configure pac files in Ontap?

another question

Is it possible to configure socks on Ontap?

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

I must admin I have never tried to specify a pac file directly in the autosupport options. But try it out, it won't make the filer explode 🙂

What I have done though, is to download a pac file and checked what the proxy rules for external connections were to find out which proxy and port to use and entered those details for autosupport.support.proxy.
