7-Mode Transition Secondary Copy via commandline

Hello,

We need to transition a SnapMirror destination volume from 7-Mode 8.2.5 to ONTAP 9.5 and resynchronize both SVMs using SnapMirror Resync using the command line.

7MTT did this fine for another SVM, but in this case we cannot use the tool.

When we try to resync between both clusters/SVMs we receive a message “cannot revert volume to snapshot hourly.0 because is 7-mode or Pre 8.2 snapshot”

Any idea how to perform the secondary volume transition by command line and re-establish the snapmirror relationship between both clusters/svms?

Thanks in advanced

Maurice

the solution is, to force the cluster to create a DP SnapMirror relationship, by cluster option mentioned in post

The node shell option from KB 10717759 did not worked.

Unable to perform a SnapMirror type-XDP resync between two volumes transitioned from 7-Mode
