GPFS with EF570

Hi experts

We will use GPFS with netapp ef570, DDP or RAID6, which is better for GPFS?

Is there best practice for ef570 with GPFS?

Typically a RAID 6 is better for performance while DDP can give you faster rebuild time in case of drive recostruction after a failure.

There is a an ebook available at https://www.netapp.com/us/media/e-series-with-spectrum-scale.pdf that has test results for E2800 and E5700 (using HDDs to keep price per GB lower). Evidently EF570 would give you better Latency and throughput.
