Hi All,
I want to know about actual usage charge of EBS.
<example 1>
Aggr size: 500GB(1 x 500GB EBS)
Vol size: 100BG
Thin Provisioning: disable
Actual usage: 50GB
The charge of EBS: $0.12/GB/month
Total charge: 100GB x $0.12/GB = $12/month
<example 2>
Aggr size: 500GB(1 x 500GB EBS)
Vol size: 100BG
Thin Provisioning: enable
Actual usage: 50GB
The charge of EBS: $0.12/GB/month
Total charge: 50GB x $0.12/GB = $6/month
Do I understand correctly?
Best regards

Kaneko,
I think you did miss a point here.
You don't pay per the usage of NetApp capacity, but per EBS capacity on AWS.
So, in both your cases you have 1 500GB SSD disk and you'd pay how much it costs to have it available for a month.
Hope that answers your question.
Thanks,
Yaron

Yaron-san,
Thank you for your reply!
I understood that the actual charge is the following.
Total charge: 500GB x $0.12/GB = $60/month
Best regards

Hello Kaneko-san,
Yes, that is correct. In the AWS Asia Pacitic (Tokyo) region, the price per GB of EBS GP2 storage is $0.12 per GB per month.
Best,
Kevin.
