I just installed SnapCenter 3.0 and I have been trying to add a new storage using the vsadmin credentials to no avail. I have even had to reset the vsadmin password and unlock the vsadmin account via command line. Trying to add the CDOT 9.0 storage SVM via FQDN or Management IP fails. Can anyone help? See screenshots below.

Hello,

You need to create a user which has "some" security in your svm.

You create a role such as smvi_role

Create a user such as smviuser.

You may use RBACUserCreator.

You cannot user vsadmin for such functions.

Good luck.
