With FlexPod we keep the choice of Management tools open for the end customer to decide, whether it's a traditional IT Service management console, Cloud Orchetration product, or a custom-made provisioning system. We have support for, and have done specific integration and/or validation work with, a number of management tool providers, including: Abiquo, BMC, CA, Cisco, Citrix, fluid Ops, Microsoft, Red Hat and VMware. We also have validation reports that cover OpenStack and Cloudstack.
If you do not already have a management platform investment that you need to leverage for FlexPod, you should consider Cisco USC Director. We have worked with this product for a number of years, beginning when it was the independant company, Cloupia. It has always been regarded as easy to use, and has since added more NetApp Data ONTAP-specific enahnacements.
