I'm a little confused; (happens a lot lately).
So NetApp stopped the Tech OnTap newsletters. How are we supposed to stay up to date with updates to products, software and such?
Is there something I missed?
Hi there,
We have the NetApp Blog - https://blog.netapp.com/, as well as the Tech ONTAP podcast - https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/tech-ontap-podcast/id1024735461?mt=2 , as well as our channel partners and events like the Storage Field Day, and our Insight conferences in Barcelona and Las Vegas.
Outside of NetApp there is the toasters mailing list, and the NetApp subreddit - https://reddit.com/r/netapp
Hope this helps!
Alex:
Thanks for the response, but none of those are officially sanctioned news sources. Nor are they concise snippets of news, that would make me want to go research further.
Honestly, in this day and age, with the Information Overload (anybody that used to work with GCOS on HIS would know it as Illegal-EISdata), I don't have the time to peruse all of these outlets you've described.
Again, I need something that will pick my interest to read further. I think an official NetApp Support site would be good, for existing customers.
Also, is it just me? When I go to the Community, I can't find the BLOGS. I have to search for it in order to get to it.

I understand your concern - I believe the Tech ONTAP podcast is official, but I suspect like you, I would also prefer a written newsletter. I get internal notifications of new releases, and each of those releases comes with release notes which detail new features and changes, but I don't believe that is available externally.

Hi @Tas
All blogs have been migrated to blog.netapp.com.
The blog content on the community is hidden and will be removed in the future.
