Version of VMware tools for Oncommand .ova?

So I downloaded and the newest 7.2 VM appliance to monitor Netapp performance, but it asks me for install VMware Tools to continue.

Problem is VMware doesn't seem to include a Linux tools image with 6.7

On their site they only list .iso for Windows.

So, how to proceed (or is it possible to do this install without tools)?

Thanks

Latest version is "Active IQ Unified Manager" 9.7.

I've had luck in the past with changing the OS type to Debian 64 (or Centos?) and the tools installed.

indeed move forward to Active IQ Unified Manager 9.2P2 it has all the oncommand unified manager, performance manager and Active IQ included. Change os into Centos 64 bit and the VMware tools should install without problems.
