Can dumped data on HPUX client@NetApp NFS be mounted on a Lunix client?

We are planning on writting large amount of data over HPUX nfs client, and then remount the NetApp NFS server over to a Linux client, using the same data. Can that be done? Can two different clients use the same data on NetApp?
