2 out of 4 ports in the same LACP group went down, will LIF on the group be staying up?

OnTap 9.6px.

We need to have a CISCO switch maintenance, and 2 ports in LACP connect to one switch, the other 2 connect to the other switch. If 2 ports goes down, can LIF on the LACP group still stay up? If yes, then on the NetApp side, I don't need to do anything. Correct?

few things I can think of on the netapp site:

You need a matching config on at least it's HA partner.  so just incase the whole IFGRP does go down the LIF will failover.

You also should make sure that the correct lif failover policy is set.

the ifgrp needs to be Multimode LACP and the vPC and switchs side in general  needs to be configured correctly as well as the switch peer link.   But no, the ifgrp/port should stay up and lif not move if there is a switch failure on one side.

Okay. I don’t need to do anything on NetApp side, and don’t need to failover LIF, just to monitor.
