7mode - autosupport SMTP failure

hello everyone,

we have a 7mode box that fails to send autosupport emails [sometimes] and we need to understand why, i found the below error in the log files, can someone please tell me what could be the reason for this...

Generally this is due to the SMTP server requiring login to send. This is not supported for AutoSupport submission. You can attempt to diagnose further by running a packet capture on the filer against your SMTP server's address, using the instructions at https://kb.netapp.com/app/answers/answer_view/a_id/1029832
