Aggregate Conversion Progress

Hi All,

Ive just added some disks in to an existing 32bit aggregate which took it well over the 16TB (up to 29TB after conversion) which kicked of the conversion process.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows a way to monitor the aggregate 32bit to 64bit conversion progress or if there is now way to monitor it what the expected conversion times are for an aggregate currently containing 11TB?

Hi,

For Clustered Data ONTAP 8.1 and 8.2 you can Monitor the status of the conversion:
::*> aggr 64bit-upgrade status aggr1 –all

For Clustered Data ONTAP 8.2.1 and later Monitor the status of the conversion:
::*> aggr 64bit-upgrade status aggr1

We are using 7mode DOT and the link provides the procedure for both 7mode as well as Cluster mode.
