Hi,

If anyone can confirm this to me ?

Are we supposet to see LUNS in the backup software for Cluster Mode 8.3RC1 ?

I have disabled 'node-sope' and added cluster using cluster mgmt LIF, I am able to see 'all' the volumes under SVMS, but cannot see LUNS.

Is this normal ?

Thanks,

-Ashwin

Hi Ashwin,

I hope the KB Article will help you understand the resources which will be available using vserver-scope and node-scope.

Thanks

Hi Deepu,

Thanks for attending this query.

Actually, the article is about the resources [volumes/Tape Drives] with respect to NDMP Node-scope vs vserver. This does not tell help in selecting the LUNs.

In the Backup windows when I click 'Content' tab to includes the resources - Only volumes are exported with SVM names.

I found the workaround by manually adding the LUN to the volume.

Example - /svm/volumename

Manually add the LUN by placing '/' , example - /svm/volumename/lunname ---- This works.

Thanks,

-Ashwin
