Hello,
refer below configuration
- SVM name SVM0
- volume name test with 100G
- create qtree /test/Home
- create CIFS share Home with path /test/Home
- create directory for user u1 in /test/Home/u1
- create all user quota in /test/Home with 2G
when Windows client u1 map \\SVM0\Home\u1, it will display 100G size, I know tree quota could display in Windows client with tree quota size, could user quota size display in Windows client?

What SMB protocol is in use for access? I did find this KB which seems to reflect the behavior you're observing.

Here's another KB with more Quota info

Hi Darren,
May be question not clear, customer want to display 2G (user quota size) and not the volume size 100G.
