I'm setting up a new Clustered ONTAP two node 3250 cluster and have a need to move each node's root aggregate & volume to a new set of disks.
This process was pretty easy / straight forward in 7-Mode but looks to be much more difficult in cDOT.
Can anyone provide any insight into this process or point me in the direction of any supporting documentation?
Thanks!
Trey

Just came across my own article from last year. I've been using this documented process and it works well since changes to 8.2.x:

I am also looking for a procedure on moving the root volume on cDOT. Did you ever figure this out? A FAS3220 cluster came from the factory with it's root vol on 3TB sata drives and I want to move it to smaller SAS drives.
