Hi,
Looks doable, but you will need to offline the system to re-cable it.

It is posible te re-cable with FAS11 still online?
My plan was, disable the ports on FAS11 where DATA' FAS11 are connected in old situation.
Then attach in that loop de FAS12 diskshelves (new situation) and then enable the ports again.

Do you want to keep SyncMirror running?
Cheers.

Yes Ricardo,
I do wish that I'd keep my SyncMirror & I also wish that both source/target volume will be R/W able which my apps could have two identical data copy all the time.
Did I ask too much? Is it possible?
Thanks in advance & looking forward to hear from you soon.

I believe you have to break SynMirror before doing any changes, then cable the shelfs, and when everything is ready resync SyncMirror.
Cheers.

No not really...
It's preferable that the storage of FAS11 stays online. I thought with making a new loop for the FAS12 storage shelves it would be possible...
