We are looking for a best way to copy data between data centers.
Site A - primary runs on Onap 9.2
Site B - DR runs Ontap 9.8
Site A have FC storage holding Oracle database Approx. 5TB.
We are trying to find most efficient way to copy the data over and continue to mirror if possible.
The distance is Colorado to New Jersey so latency close to 50ms.
Connection speed is Site A 10Gb Site B 1Gb.
Are there any services that would allow to make that copy?
Thank you,
Martin

can you upgrade Site A? but I think that 50ms is a bit much for anything synchronous

Possibly to 9.8 max.
What about with longer RPO lets say 4 hours?

depending on change-rate, standard snapmirror would probably work.

Hi,
We have been doing that a while ago, the amount of data was 8PB. Snapmirror worked perfectly,
but I'd upgrade both sites to be the same network and OS wise. But it is me 🙂
