While I dont see this in the IMT, are there any plans to test Fusion IO or SSD drives with Edge? Would it work? Would anything prevent it from working?
I'm pretty certain for support NetApp wants Edge on something leveraging RAID for redundancy, but I know people have made it work. Are you looking for support, or just confirmation that it's possible?
The Interoperability matrix lists all that we support. I recommend any desires outside of the IMT be brought to a sales person. NetApp has what we call a "PVR" that you can file through your sales rep which allows us to have the conversations around: What do you want that is not in the IMT. How much is it worth to you? etc.
