Hi team
I've been getting some errors regarding this disk 0b.01.10 can someone help me identify what it means?
Is this disk going to fail, if so it shows I have no spare disk on this node. Will it fail once i add an additional disk
to this node?

That does look like the disk is failing,  but fixing blocks does happen from time to time.   However keep in mind that you have Raid DP. (2 parity disks).

Does the partner node have any spares that you could reassign to the b controller?

Otherwise, the disk will fail, and NetApp support will ship a new one to you when it does and the drive will be replaced.

1)  Open a ticket with netapp to replace the failed disk.

2) As far as the steps.

  • You need to disable disk auto assign.
  • Unassign the spare from controller A
  • Assign to controller B.
  • Re-enable disk auto assign.

Here's a good example vid.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrYli6euxb4

Got ya.    I would try and track down a replacement though if you can.    You'll eventualy run out of spare. Smiley Wink
