Enable IPv4 Routing on Filer

Is it possible to enable IPv4 routing (a.k.a. IP Forwarding) on a filer.  For instance to allow the filer to serve as the gateway between two interfaces (or two virtual interfaces ala 802.1q)

If so what does the command structure look like to allow or deny this?

Data ONTAP will not act as a router.  Routes in ONTAP are for outbound packets only.
