In a typical metrocluster setup, it will require 4 fc ports from each controller (excluding FCVI) to fc switch. Every 2 disk shelves will require a port from the FC switch. Is there a limit on how many disk loops can the 4 fc ports can support? If my setup requires 504 disks (18 shelves for each controller) and 9 switch ports for disks. Do i need to increase my fc connections from controller to switch?
My current setup is 2x FAS3160 and 4x Brocade 300e (24 ports activated).
