Hi,

for every Ontap Release there are release notes available in the donload area. Under "´Requirements for running Data Ontap XX" you can find a list of supported controller models. Example for Ontap 8.2 in 7 Mode:

You need a supported storage system to run the Data ONTAP 8.2 release.

The following FAS systems and V-Series systems are supported:
