Hi All,

I have a source filer FilerA and destination filer FilerB.

Snapmirror is enabled in both fiers.

FilerA ---> FilerB

And snapvault is enabled in FilerB.

VolA from FilerA -----snapmirrored----> VolB from FilerB ---------snapvaulted------> VolC from FilerB.

I would like to restore VolC from FilerB -----restore-----> VolA from FilerA

Could anyone please help me to fix this.

Note: No snapvault license in FilerA

Thanks,

Jaffer

Hi Team,

I break the relationship of snapmirror and restored the data from snapvault source to destination as below

FilerA -/--> FilerB (Broke the relationship

VolC from FilerB ----restored--->VolB from FilerB

VolB from FilerB ---Established a reverse snapmirror sync---->VolA from FilerA

After that Break the relationship once again and res initialize from the FilerA

VolB from FilerB ----Break the relationship--->VolA from FilerA

VolA from FilerA ---Reinitialize the relationship-->VolB from FilerB

Now I can access the file.
