How do i break a snapmirror that is Uninitialized

this snapmirror is Uninitialized  because the source was deinstalled before the relasionship was broken. now i try to break and i get errors.

 

snapmirror status corp08_tsm_cifs
Snapmirror is on.
Source Destination State Lag Status
chwpnetapp08b:tsm_fc_cifs PHXSNCL060B:corp08_tsm_cifs Uninitialized 1474:48:00 Idle

 

snapmirror break corp08_tsm_cifs
snapmirror break: corp08_tsm_cifs: destination is not in snapmirrored state

Joe -

 

Remove it from snapmirror.conf and whack the volume ?

Is this 7-mode or cDOT

Sorry its 7-mode  NetApp Release 8.2.4P1 7-Mode

 

snapmirror release tsm_fc_cifs PHXSNCL060B:corp08_tsm_cifs
snapmirror release: tsm_fc_cifs, PHXSNCL060B:corp08_tsm_cifs: source is offline, is restricted, or does not exist

If there is an entry in snapmirror.conf on destination remove it.  

 

Also, look at the volume and look for snap list on the volume and look for a mirror snapshot to delete.
