I need to convert a snapmirror destination to a new source without re-baselining

I have a customer that has an existing SnapMirror source that has three destinations. The current SM source is being decommissioned and needs for one of the destinations to become the new source for the remaining two destinations. Is it possible to do this without re-baselining? They are running ONTAP 8.0.2

Yes, it is possible. Just do "snapmirror resync" specifying new source; it will pick common snapshot and continue from it.

Thank you, was thinking the same thing, and after reviewing ( http://now.netapp.com/NOW/knowledge/docs/ontap/rel802/html/ontap/onlinebk/GUID-35AB6C90-CE35-4A61-BD80-8471D86CD3FF.html ) as long as they have a common snapshot it should work fine.
