Hi,

With regards to initialization of disks, does selecting Option (4) Clean configuration and initialize all disks encapsulate going into (5) Maintenance mode boot and doing "aggr destroy aggr0" -> storage release disks -> disk remove_ownership all?

No. If there are assigned disks, it simply zeroes out them (which implicitly destroys any aggregate), but it does not remove ownership.
