We have created several flexvolumes such as 1 flex volume contains 1 qtree.
these volumes are created in the similiar way for oracle and Sys Admin's
e.g
oracle volume - /vol/oratla_data/oratla_data
Sys Admin Volume - /vol/traces/traces
These volumes are fully allocated volumes (not thin-provisioned)
Now, in few volumes we can see very less utilised capacity and hence want to shrink/reclaim it .
Want to know is it safe to reclaim spaces from Oracle / Sys Admin volumes or is there a slightest of chance for data loss.
I understand this is driven by WAFL and hence intelligent enough to reclaim only the empty/zero blocks from volumes - but still want to know if it is 100% safe.
Please comment and help me with any best practice doc related .

if you see the free space, you can resize the volume. it's safe. if you're not so sure, ask ur ps guy to help?
