Is there a log or snmp to track user activity on the netapp filer?

I would like to trace events such as when the particular volume was created/deleted/expanded/shrunk and by which users etc.

/etc/log/auditlog should have the information you are looking for.

Thanks for the reply. I also thought audit log would have it, but unfortunately it dosent record it.

Have you checked the /etc/log/vol_history ?
