Hi Sutanu,

I believe you are monitoring cDOT systems. For cDOT systems, you must have also registered NetAppp Storage Virtual Machine (SVM) to the plug-in because storage must be allocated to your database volumes from SVMs. Once you register SVM, you can refer "All Metrics" and click on "Volume Performance" metric. This metric lists the performance details of all the volumes belong to that SVM. Latency has been displayed in terms of micro seconds (ms) in that metric.

Please let us know if it works.

Hi, thanks you, yep it is cDOT

we added the 2 SVM to the OEM but the SVM shows down status (saying unreachable)

Do we need to create the oemplugin users on the individual SVM as well?

the documentation doesnt clearly clarify this - sorry

Hi Sutanu,

Yes, you need to create separate custom users for each SVM to register with OEM.

It is mentioned in IAG documentation. Please refer following documentation section: 2.7.2 (Creating a custom user for managing Storage Virtual Machines (SVMs))

yep.

Is Section 2.7.2 has any relation with Section 2.7.1 (7-mode) Step 2 where the role is granted with all APIs?

Please advise - thanks

Hi Sutanu,

Section 2.7.2 has no correlation with section 2.7.1.

Please follow section 2.7.2 only and it will provide all necessary permissions to access SVM data.
