Hello, I have a customer planning to migrate his AD to Azure and they would use the Azure AD service (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/resources/videos/azure-active-directory-overview/).
Is it supported by ONTAP? Will they be able to join the CIFS SVM on it?
Thanks!

I think the answer is no, Azure AD is a Identity Provider (IDP) not a full directory service.

Microsoft offers Azure Active Directory Domain Services but is a full cloud solution.
Hope this help.

were you able to get an answer to your question because I have a client who wants to know if this is possible?
