I found CDP support in Data ONTAP to be extremely useful. Unfortunately, recently I had nasty surprise with Nexus - it apparently does not support CDP anymore, only LLDP. Is it possible to enable LLDP support in Data ONTAP? If not - any plans to implement it?
I have CDP active on my Filers that are connected to Nexus 5548 switches (direct and via Nexus 2248TP FEXes). The 5548s are running NX-OS 5.0(3). It works just fine.

Ok, so it's now 2014. We're using juniper ex4550 switches for a netapp cluster deployment, and juniper only support LLDP and not CDP. Any chance we can get an LLDP option sometime soon? Like before I turn 40?
