Metrocluster IP active-passive cluster and AFF

Hi,

Can I have an MetroCluster IP using AFF (like A400 or A800) with active-passive cluster, I mean, one cluster has all pool0 disks and the other cluster has all pool1 disks?

When I tried to do that on Fusion, I can´t change aggregate configuration, so it seems to me that I can´t have active-passive cluster using MCC IP and AFF.

Can anyone clarify this to me?

Regards, Rafael.

Hello,

You can check the kb below to help you in the initialization for an active-passive setup:

https://kb.netapp.com/Advice_and_Troubleshooting/Data_Protection_and_Security/MetroCluster/How_to_initialize_a_MetroCluster_IP_for_an_active-passive_s...

You can also verify supported configuration and switch/port/etc... under hw universe:
