Hi,
We want to use just two ports single nic switched cluster (fas9000 ontap 9)because we just have two 40gbe cables.
I researched about minumum cluster connection but could not find anything.
Is there any one test or used in this scenario ?
Thanks,
Tuncay

Hi Tuncay,
The minimum support is 2 cables for the single NIC, one to each switch. The diagram you have is from HUW and shows the minimium connections, i.e. one cable to each switch for resilience. The recommended is 2 cables from difference NICs for added resilience.
However, you should not be short a cable, it should be included as part of the original purchase order, can your sales contact not help?
Thanks,
Grant.
