Monitor CIFS service

Hi Everyone,

I would like to monitor if the CIFS service is down (DataOntap 8.2 7-mode) with Nagios (Centreon). I already have the information with DFM but I would like to know if there's a plugin or MIB I can check also.

In my opinion it's very rare to have issues with the cifs service going down... 

Have you experienced any cifs issues...

Well thanks for your opinion but It happened to us, and it's not acceptable to have 3000 users denied access to a share. 

So anyone else ?
