What is the best way to do this with the least amount of downtime?  Is there a qtree commands like "lun move"?

We do this all the time using Snapmirror. The initial copy can take some time depending on the qtree size, but the actual migration only takes a few minutes.

Hello,

Qtree snapmirror is the best way. If you don't have a snapmirror license, you can use ndmpcopy. 😞   With ndmpcopy, the amount of downtime is equal  to the duration of copy.

Yes Justin,

qtree snap mirror is your best friend.

If you did not have the snap mirror license, you may ask your NetApp rep for the temp licence code.

Good luck

Henry
