On my FAS3140 runing 7.3.6P2 7-mode I have 2 VIFs created and connected to 2 different subnets. From my AIX server I have 2 interfaces that are connected to same vlans of netapp. I can ping the 2 VIFs ip from the AIX client. I can run a "showmount -e filer1" to one of the interfaces of netapp but the other just hangs for a while and eventually returns a "port mapper failure" error. Are there any restrictions or options that I need to set on the filer to be able to use both interfaces for an NFS mount?
