Hi Everyone...
1. About 3 x months back cDOT 8.2.3 was successfully installed on 2 x FAS 2240-4 (HA) using serial console session... Means a cluster of 4 x nodes in total...
2. Installation was cleaned using serial console session 4 days back from 3 x nodes... 1 x node is still with previous installation....
3. New cDOT configuration was completed on 1 x node using same serial console session...
4. Present status is....
Total Nodes = 4 (FAS 2240-4)
New cDOT 8.2.3 = 1 node
Previous cDOT 8.2.3 = 1 node
Clean Nodes wothout any configuration = 2
5. But presently we can connect to each node with serial cable but keyboard strokes are not accepted by any node...
6. Following steps have already been taken....
a. Number of Serial cables tested... Presently we are using serial cable taken out of FAS 2240-4 boxes...
b. Management terminal with different OS tested....
c. Every management terminal and serial cable works with every other device including switches, FAS 2040 box, Firewall but NOT with these 4 x nodes (FAS 2240-4)....
d. Filers completely removed from chassis... NVMEM, physical RAM, NVMEM battery, RTC etc all removed for 5 hours... Reinserted but same result...
7. SP was never configured....
8. Unfortunate part is that 4 x nodes are NOT accepting keyboard strokes in serial console session at same time...
9. There could be problem with installation but atleast it should accept input from keyboard so that i continue with fresh installation...
Any Idea, help... ???
Regards
