NetApp Snapshots calculation

Hi Everyone,

 

I am learning the NetApp Snapshots. going through netapp link https://library.netapp.com/ecmdocs/ECMP1196991/html/GUID-AE967C4E-B5D4-4F12-BF33-0CB64C7D9264.html

 

can anybody explain me with examples. its a bit difficult to understand the %used and %total values.

It has to do with active file system vs snapshot.

 

you might get a better idea of you do df -Vg vol0 and look at snap reserve

you can also run the snap delta command to get some more details of the amount of space being used by each snapshot with relation to the current volume usage.
