ONTAP 9 downgrade to 8.2.X 7-mode in fresh installation

Anyone know how to downgrade from ONTAP 9 to 8.2.X 7-mode in fresh installation?

Hi Paul,

Check out KB000027886 article. (Couldn't find the KB for ONTAP 9)

But I recommend contacting NetApp support. You might also need to convert your licenses.

    Downgrade can only be a version of a version of the downgrade, in addition to the cluster mode can not be directly downgraded to 7-mode, need to modify the parameters, the following article may help you
