I have a snapmirror relationship imported in to OnCommand 5.0 which appears to complete successfully according to snapmirror logs and status but is reported as transfer failed in the jobs status of OnCommand.
In the completed job steps an entry appears for the start of the transfer, and the progress of the transfer both of which are success but the entry for snapmirror end shows as failed.
The error message is simply - SnapMirror transfer failed.
The bytes transferred shows as unknown but I have read that it may not always show a transfer amount if the transfer was small, which according to the snapmirror logs it is.
Has anyone come across this issue?
Thanks
Steve.
This may be a known issue. Do a ondemand job, then your conformance status should not be shown as job_failure.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply, unfortunately the on demand protection job failed with the same error. The data set has actually always shown as conformant but the snapmirror job does continue to show as failed.
Steve.
Hi Steve,
Can you pls post the output of dfpm job detail for the failed job ?
Regards
