Removing the multipath on the filer.

Hello All,

we have backup filer on which  Mulipathing is configured.

so we dont have any free ports to configure the Tape Library to the filer.so my question is  we want to remove the multipathing and configure the tape library directly to the filer.

can any one help me out doing the process...

Personally, given it's a backup filer I'd probably just shut it down, remove the multipath links, bring it back up, verify everything is fine, and then continue on with a regular tape library install/connection.

You should be able to do it live I believe but for a backup system it's easier just to take it down I'd say.

Yes I agree thats definitley the best way to go about it.
