Root volume of vserver

Hi,

 

Can sombody please let me know what is root volume of a vserver ?

 

I believe every vserver be it (admin/cluster, node and data) vserver contains a root volume, so what exactly are the contents of a root volume on all 3 types of vserver ?

 

and does for every vserver vol0 is the root volume ?

The root volume of thte data vserver is the root of the namespace, and contains junction paths and mount points for the volumes within that namespace.

The root volume of the node contains logs, coredumps, configuration backups, and local copies of the replicated databases.

The admin vserver doesn't have a root volume, it has a set of databases that are replicated accross all of the nodes.
