Shutdown process for cDOT cluster

Hi All,

Is there any specific process document available for complete shut down of a cDOT cluster. As we do cf disable in 7 mode do we have to stop failover in cDOT before shutting down. We need to power down a cluster for a power maintenance activity. Thanks in advance for the answers

Yes, the same considerations for each HA pair apply. You can either use “system node halt -inhibit-takeover” for each node or globally disable takeover using “storage failover modify”.

I guess cluster is never expected to be switched off completely, so nobody thought about documenting it … ☺
